Develop (Product Shot)

As part of the develop stage I looked at two products a Yankee Candle and an Easter Egg. The reason I chose these objects was because they were both red as was the final product idea of a Coca-Cola can and both products were made of  different materials  one being glass and highly reflective and the other being cardboard which is not reflective. The final reason I chose these specific products for the experimentation process in my assignment was because I intended to use only recyclable materials, those being cardboard and glass in the experimentation and for the finalized product shot aluminium would be the material of the item.   The backdrop for the images was created by  opening up  a box I was in possession of at the time and the of tape to stick the opened box to both the floor and to the wall. Product Shot Proposal

    My concept for the Product shot assignment is to design an advertisement for Cans of Cocoa Cola that highlights the environmentally friendly side of how the can is a recyclable product. As stated above the client or company which I am doing this assignment for is Coca-Cola and the product in use is a can of Coke using the original Coca cola and no other variants. The target audience for this advertisement are individuals who are environmentally friendly and in  favour  of recycling as a method of going green. I would expect to see this advertisement on busses, on posters at bus stops and on billboards. The simplicity of this product shot the only prop necessary is a can of Coca-Cola.   I chose this image of a watch and a wallet because of the simplicity of the colours and how the lighting coming in from the right helps create a subtle and distinguished look for the products  I chose this because i myself use an iPhone anyhow thew light reflects off the back of the phone to create a sort of pristine, glossy and new look about the phone. It is also something i believe i may be able to recreate as i possess an iPhone. I chose this imagine because of its simplicity and the contrasting colours of the black headphones and the yellow background. The light appears to emanate from above the product , centered with the background.

Image Production Proposal

  MY PROPOSAL:  The recreation of movie scenes with the artistic styles of  different visual  entertainment mediums.   I intend to achieve the recreated shots of movie scenes using a maximum of two individuals and backgrounds from the movie scenes to replace the backgrounds of the photos I have taken. After all editing is done Adobe Photoshop® all that should or in most cases will remain is the faces of the subjects involved. Effects I intend on using include film grain, Lomography and several illustration-based book styles such as manga and comics.
