I chose this image of a watch and a wallet because of the simplicity of the colours and how the lighting coming in from the right helps create a subtle and distinguished look for the products 



I chose this because i myself use an iPhone anyhow thew light reflects off the back of the phone to create a sort of pristine, glossy and new look about the phone. It is also something i believe i may be able to recreate as i possess an iPhone.


I chose this imagine because of its simplicity and the contrasting colours of the black headphones and the yellow background. The light appears to emanate from above the product , centered with the background.

Photo Recreation

  When it came to taking the photo i took twenty pictures from varying angles of   incremental differences, by zooming the camera in or panning out or by bringing the camera closer to the subject's face. The greatest challenge for me was trying to recreate the emotions captured by the original. One of the first things i tried to address when taking the photo was the proportions of light and shadow on the subject's face and the intensity of the shadow on the subject's face. I feel that the intensity of the shadow in my photo has somewhat matched that of the original but is still a bit off while the proportions are okay at best and that maybe i could have allowed more light into the room when taking the photo.  The posture and facial expression is able to evoke the sadness of the original but the fear is lacking. Overall I had an enjoyable experience recreating this photo and would lover to try doing other portraits in the future.
